Director of Music for St Michael’s

We are looking to recruit a Director of Music for St Michael’s. This is an exciting project which aims to revitalise the musical life of the parish church in Heavitree and re-establish a choral tradition as part of our worshipping life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work with the existing members of the choir and reach out to the wider community, including our local schools and the University to recruit new members.
• Is inspired by the challenge of building something from a low base and with an ability to engage and inspire both children and adults with music.
• Will strive for musical excellence which enhances our worship whilst also seeking to make membership of the choir a sociable and rewarding experience.
